The Bulgarian Brute Rusev debuted last year after Wrestlemania 30 and with him debuted his mouth piece, the beautiful Ravishing Russian Lana. Lana's real name is Catherine Joy (C.J.) Perry, and in addition to being employed by the WWE, she has been a model, dancer, singer and actress in the past. Since being up on WWE's main roster, Lana has just cut promos and spoken on the microphone, but due to her rising popularity, the WWE believes she is a valuable performer for the company, and may even wrestle at some point down the line.

On-screen Lana was with Rusev for over a year, a relationship that ended this past May. However, in real life, Lana and Rusev are in a relationship and have been several times at events, and sports games (Los Angeles Clippers and Nashville Predators). On-screen Lana has recently been paired with Dolph Ziggler to continue her recent storyline. Fellow WWE Diva Summer Rae has joined the story and aligned herself with Rusev.

Lana gained a cult following from being for Rusev that in the prior months leading up to the two's on-screen break-up, the WWE Universe consistently chanted "We Want Lana!" each week. This even led to #WeWantLana trending on social media on a few occasions. Before WWE, she was most known for her modeling work. She has also appeared in both Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2 and is real life friends with Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow, the stars of each movie.
